Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Groveh website, mobile applications, and related services (together, "Groveh" or the "Service"). By using Groveh, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who we are

Groveh is operated by 404-Not-Null ("Groveh", "we", "us", or "our") in Ghana. You can contact us at support@groveh.app.

What Groveh does

Groveh helps people discover local food, products, and services. It gives vendors a storefront where they can present their offerings and lets buyers and vendors communicate directly.

Groveh is not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a vendor. Unless we expressly say otherwise, we do not process or hold payments, provide escrow, or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, availability, delivery, or completion of anything offered through the Service. Buyers and vendors are responsible for the terms of their own transactions.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create a vendor account. If you are under 18, you may use Groveh only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, poses a risk to other users, or is required to be restricted by law.

Vendor responsibilities

• You must own or have permission to use every image, logo, description, and other item you publish.
• Listings, prices, availability, and service descriptions must be accurate and not misleading.
• You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection, food safety, licensing, tax, and data protection requirements.
• You must honour the orders, bookings, and commitments you accept, and handle buyer questions and disputes promptly and fairly.
• You may not list illegal, unsafe, stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited goods or services.

Buyer responsibilities

• Check the vendor's details, price, availability, and terms before you commit to a transaction.
• Arrange payment and delivery directly with the vendor unless a separate service says otherwise.
• Use reasonable care when sharing personal information or meeting someone you found through Groveh.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, provide, and promote the Service. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this licence.

We may remove content that violates these Terms, infringes someone else's rights, or creates a risk for Groveh or its users.

Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Use Groveh for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
• Impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, or create a misleading storefront.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against another person.
• Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the Service, or circumvent security or rate limits.
• Scrape, copy, or resell the Service or its data without our written permission.
• Send spam or use contact details obtained through Groveh for unauthorised marketing.

Third-party services

Groveh uses third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, data storage, analytics, notifications, and identity verification. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Groveh may also link to third-party websites or services; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Groveh is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or from any transaction between users. Our total liability for a claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of GHS 500 or the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Groveh harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or another person's rights.

Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue part of the Service. We may also update these Terms. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of Groveh after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

Ending your use

You may stop using Groveh at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. The courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
